Feeling Senti

I am leaving home soon. To find myself. To focus on my dream. To fulfill a personal project. To finally reach for the stars. Whatever you call it.

I'll miss my room though. So I took some pics so I won't be so lonely.

Small Flowers Blue (or White). I really love this collection!

Summer Dots Navy Blue (everybody's favorite right now and I'm joining the bandwagon)

The oriental looking Baroque Beige (or Black)

MYOH - My Own Havaianas

This is my very own creation from the "Make Your Own Havaianas" event in Powerplant Mall yesterday. Somebody commented that this is my version of the Kids Stars (which unfortunately, have sizes up to 33/34 only). It's definitely my favorite pair right now. The event will run until March 26.

On a More Serious Note...

I think the end is near... for me at least. My dreams of becoming a lawyer will be decided upon after almost six months of waiting (again). Memories of preparing for the exam last year flooded in my mind as I blog. I think I'm going to write my eulogy now. If there's any comfort in my situation now, no... scratch that. Nothing... and no one can make me feel better right now. God help me.

Link of the Day

I posted a question on the new and improved Today Show website yesterday to ask Joss Stone whether she had other interests/talents besides singing.

Check out her Vblog (Video Blog) for the answer. Oh, she has a new album out titled "Introducing Joss Stone". Not really digging her red highlights but the voice is still there. And she still performs barefoot.

My V-day

Happy Hearts Day! So how did I spend mine?

1. Went on my weekly pilgrimage to Baclaran
2. "Indulged" in Sonja's cupcakes afterwards. Whether this is better than original plan to watch Hugh Grant's "Music and Lyrics" I really don't know.
3. Attended mass for retired priests.
4. Watched my comfort shows American Idol and Grey's Anatomy as soon as I got home.

Nothing special. Hope your V-day is better than mine.

Joy's Birthday Bash at The Fort

I really like these pics taken from Ember's digicam. Except that I had a facial days ago and my face just started to peel off. Good thing that the venue was not well-lighted for people to notice. But I had a blast! Wish I could party forever. Happy Birthday Joy!

So what if it's February?

I can't believe I have the birthday blues. Maybe because I'm not really looking forward to getting old. In a few years time I will hit the 30s--the age bracket that seemed so far away then.

Am I afraid of getting old? Maybe not yet. But what I fear now is that I would age knowing that I haven't done any significant thing, not really something that would change the world but at least one that would make an impact on myself and the people around me.

As I contemplate these thoughts (which I do more often now), a question hit me as I went to sleep last night.

Would I trade youth for wisdom? Would you?

My answer as soon as I figure this out. Maybe on my birthday. Which will be in a few days. Aaaargh!!!!

On Broken Resolutions and Blessed Novena Prayerbook

Let it be known that I broke my New Year's resolution today, January 10, 2007.

I am NOT supposed to buy any Havaianas until February, my birth month. Of course, it's not just a resolution, it's supposed to be a rehab from my addiction of the popular flip-flop brand. But when I saw the Havs marked down at AFF Glorietta, I totally flipped and bought the Pink/Light Blue Style model. This baby is a steal for P604.00. Of course, there were other marked down 2006 models available, like the lavender Margaridas, the rose cheetah animal prints, and the black and white Style. Let's see if they have stocks on Friday so I could buy another one.

It's official. I am now on re-HAV.

Something good happened today though. I had my copy of the Novena of Mother of Perpetual Help blessed before I went crazy. It should mean something. Next week, I will attempt to fall in line and go to the Blessed Sacrament, and beg for mercy.

Update: I was able to go near the Blessed Sacrament. In fact, I've been doing this for my last three visits already. Yay me!
